The LUCKY Issue
Do you consider yourself lucky or unlucky? Do you have any charms or superstitions? Welcome to the Lucky issue – it’s our 13th. We’ve met some weird and wonderful clairvoyants and asked a few of our favourite London fashion scenesters about their lucky habits.
It’s also an LA special in honour of the fact we now have a West Coast bureau – after all, who knows more about sunshine living than the Los Angelians? We’ve interviewed legendary Jane’s Addiction frontman Perry Farrell and put together Clueless and Venice Beach-inspired trend pages, not to mention our stunning cover shoot with French-born, LA-based alternative singer Soko.
This issue we’re more about style over fashion, and out photographers have interpreted the Luck theme in a cinematic way. Be inspired by our youthful Mia Farrow story ‘The Sisterhood’, our menswear tailoring story following an East End gangster character Lucky, our sultry, smoky-eyed beauty shoot ‘Lucky Strike’ and the brilliantly styled 70s menswear shoot ‘London Hustle’.
