Discover The UK’s Chardonnay Revival With Hardys
Last week, on the 22nd May, saw the launch of the Hardys ‘1853 Club’ in London, with a pop-up wine bar and VIP press launch.
The pop-up wine bar experience, which celebrated the nation’s rediscovered love for Chardonnay and International Chardonnay Day, was attended by musician and award-winning cheese producer Alex James, whose artisan cheeses, ‘Alex James Presents’, had been especially paired with a selection of Hardys Chardonnays, as part of a specially curated menu.
During the event guests took part in Chardonnay tasting sessions led by wine expert and blogger, Miss Bouquet. “Chardonnay is enjoying a real resurgence in popularity,” Miss Bouquet explains. “The selection from Hardys demonstrates how just much variety there is. It is the perfect wine to enjoy on a warm summer’s day and goes fabulously with cheese as well as many other picnic foods.”
