What’s the story behind the collection?
Inspired by the textural layering of the Mongolian nomadic tribespeople and the extremes of light and dark in Mongolia’s subarctic Taiga, the collection is reminiscent of architect Tadao Ando’s sensitive treatment of light. This season the Amanda Wakeley woman engages with her love of nature, and with it, wrapping up warm for the oncoming winter.
How do you mentally prepare yourself for a show?
Green tea, my abundant moodboards and some scrumptious dark chocolate!
