Dry January sound a bit, well, dry? Indulge in these divine cocktails accented with fresh ginger and chocolate, devised by Soho’s Gem Bar

Bounty Hunter

Ingredients

  • 50 ml Chocolate Liqueur

  • 35 ml Bacardi oro

  • 10 mg Brakes Desiccated Coconut

  • 5 mg Brakes cocoa

  • Coconut shavings

  • Chocolate sprinkles

Method

  1. Mix the chocolate liqueur, Bacardi, cocoa and desiccated coconut in a shaker
  2. Pour into a martini glass
  3. Sprinkle the coconut and chocolate shavings over the top for decoration

Gem’s Gin & Ginger

Ingredients

  • 35 ml Bombay Sapphire gin
  • 15 ml Martini extra dry
  • 10 ml St Germain elderflower liquor|
  • 0.375 each Brakes fresh ginger
  • 50 top Schwepps ginger ale
  • 1 each mint sprig

Method

  1. Grate fresh ginger and mix all the ingredients with ice in a mixer. Shake well
  2. Squeeze fresh lime juice into a large wine glass and pour in the mixture
  3. Serve with a sprig of mint for decoration
