This September, we’ll be taking our fashion inspiration from our inner student. It’s back to school – or in our case, back to business. Naturally a new term means a fresh set of garms, and nothing says power dressing like a suit. This season’s twist on tailoring gives a nod to the 80s aesthetic: think oversized shoulders, double-breasted jackets and oh-so-fabulously baggy silhouettes. How To Wear
The most obvious way to work the new suit is to keep things simple. All you need is to do is layer your loose-cut tailoring over a simple tee, shirt or roll neck. If you want to take things to the next fashion level, we recommend tucking the jacket into a pair of high-waisted, wide leg trousers. This means the jacket doubles up as a top and by drawing in at the waist the overall look is more flattering. Forget layering anything else underneath or over the top, just add a pair of oversized earrings and hey presto – your boardroom awaits.
