TRACK BY TRACK
1. Jacques – Hésiter c’est tricher
We played Sonar Festival Bogota with this guy a couple of months ago. I kind of fell in love with his music and live show, you should really check him out if you dont know him already.
2. Charles Murdoch – SSSS
An Australian artist who I recently discovered at a party in Los Angeles. We were there to play our US club tour and after the concert we went to this crazy private warehouse party. DJ Dirty Dave was playing and this song came on – I’ve been hooked ever since.
3. Sleep Party People – Chin
I discovered this song last year while on our Australia tour. This is one of those tracks you keep in your heart forever. I hope it finds its way into your soul.
4. Thom Yorke – Interference
I recently travelled to New York to fulfil my bucketlist dream of seeing Thom Yorke live. Radiohead is maybe the most important band to me. He played in an old theatre in Brooklyn and it was possibly the best concert I’ve ever been to.
5. Forest Swords – War It
A friend of mine introduced me to Forest Swords and we’re now booking him for our own festival, which takes place in Vienna this June. It’s called “Checkfest”, and previously took place in Johannesburg. We’re planning to organise more all over the world.
6. Low – Disarray
I’ve been a fan of Low for many years. They create beautiful, fragile music and have just released a new album. This is my favourite track from their new material.
7. Tyler Burkhart – Your Cheshire Smile
A song I listened to a lot in times that weren’t easy. It comforts me and I love the lyrics – it’s about a girl who never laughs and so she looks like a Cheshire cat. Sounds… interesting, but worth a listen.
8. Last Days of April – Too Close
One of my favourite songs when I was 16. I stumbled across it recently and it brings back a lot of memories. I listened to a lot of indie music back then – I grew up with Oasis and Radiohead.
9. Touchy Mob – Easy on the Eye
This track comes from a talented producer from Germany with a unique, hard-to-categorise sound. If you only listen to one track from this list, make it this one.
10. Suuns – Up Past the Nursery
We played with Suuns once in Germany. I love their organic and raw sound, they’re one of the best bands I’ve seen live. This track feels trippy, like little ants under your skin.

11. HVOB – Bloom
Our latest single from our upcoming album “Rocco”, out now on PIAS Recordings. It’s about letting go, farewells and new beginnings. A world tour will be happening, stopping in the UK.
