100 Hail Marys Raincoat
Born and bred in Dalston, 100 Hail Marys is an emerging brand hell-bent on showcasing our city’s genuine DGAF style. Emblazoned with provocative slogans and accompanied by wallet-friendly price tags, 100 Hail Marys is off-duty dressing at its cheekiest. Slouchy hoodies and loose-fit tees make up the majority of their current offering, but our pick for April is the three-quarter length branded raincoat. Made from a medium weight nylon-PVC waterproof fabric, there’s no need to compromise on style while keeping dry during the inevitable April downpours (if it ever stops snowing, that is). Pair with skinnies and Doc Martens for the full East London look. £50

Collagin
If someone were to tell you that mother’s ruin could in fact be mother’s skincare saviour, what would you say? When we heard about Collagin, the world’s first alcoholic tipple with added collagen, our (rather eloquent) response was ‘BRING IT ON’. With design inspired by the timeless feminine glamour of Coco Chanel, Jo Malone and Gucci, the bottle definitely wouldn’t look out of place in your boudoir – breakfast in bed cocktails, anyone? Infused with 11 delicate botanical notes and earthy liquorice undertones (not forgetting a dose of pure powdered collagen), Collagin has been lovingly distilled on UK soil, cementing our national leadership of the artisanal spirit game. From £5.99

Role Model Barbie Collection
Get ready: the ten-year-old girl in you is about to have a level-10 freak out. Barbie gets a pretty bad rap from the sisterhood, but in recent years she’s evolved from vacant-eyed beach bumette to pilot, vet, astronaut and construction worker (yes, really). Now Mattel have upped their social acceptability one stage further by launching a range of dolls inspired by real-life kick-ass women. Included in the line-up are iconic Mexican painter Frida Kahlo, NASA mathematician Katherine Johnson (star of last years’ Hidden Figures), and aeronautical pioneer Amelia Earhart – alongside modern #GirlBosses like UK boxing champ Nicola Adams OBE and award-winning conservationist Bindi Irwin. No Ken required. £29.99

Super Good Thing Break Apart Soap
There’s not much that’s exciting about soap – don’t pretend you were pleased with your Secret Santa – but indie interiors brand Super Good Thing have come up with a product that might just hit the spot. Their break apart soap is a simply but (quite frankly) genius feat of design by influential industrial designer Jasper Morrison, enlivening half-arsed gifting for seasons to come. Pretty much exactly what it sounds like, the break apart soaps are four minimalist bars moulded as one, so you can keep one in each bathroom, one in the kitchen and one spare for when you run out. Kind to skin, it can be used on the face, hands, or to do the dishes. Good clean fun. £20

Benjamin Craven X Hayward Socks
Thought you’d never find love with a humble sock? Think again. Look Mate Socks have been engineering high-profile artistic collaborations for years, and this month it’s the turn of graphic designer and illustrator Benjamin Craven, best known for his bold, stylised prints seen on accessories, prints and the odd large-scale wall. Teaming up with the Southbank’s Hayward Gallery, Craven has his finger firmly on the city’s cultural pulse. Drawing inspiration from everyday sights and sounds of London, the abstract design of the socks bears more than a little resemblance to the Hayward’s landmark Brutalist architecture. Time to step up your sock game. £12

Yee Kwan’s Egg Tart Ice Cream
If you’re not a fan of chocolate (apparently, it does happen) then Yee Kwan’s Egg Tart ice cream might be just the sweet treat to see in this most holy of days. Purveyor of novelty ice cream flavours Yee Kwan have travelled the world to bring UK customers a range of exotic tastes, and although the delicious Egg Tart might not be the most egg-citing, it tickles our tentative British tastebuds just fine (work your way up to the Black Sesame and Red Thai Tea, we say). Made with whole milk, egg yolk, and biscuit and pastry crumbles, this is definitely an indulgence… but that’s what Jesus would have wanted, right? £4.99

H&M Conscious Collection
H&M have been leading the high street sustainability charge with ethically sourced fashion ever since launching their first Conscious Collection in 2013. In the five years since, they’ve pioneered a ‘return your clothes for money off’ scheme, and smashed boundaries with high-end high street made from 100% recycled materials. So far, so fist pump. And now, for the first major collection of 2018, the retail giant is experimenting with recycled silver and ECONYL®, a regenerated fibre made from fishnets and other nylon waste. With a print campaign shot by Mikael Jansson and starring Aamito Lagum, Giedrė Dukauskaitė and Christy Turlington Burns, you can bet this is a collection to covet – our pick is the turquoise toned iridescent halter-neck dress. Prices start from £9.99.

Nasomatto Nudiflorum
With their distinctive wooden stoppers and range of seductively titled fragrances, Nasomatto parfums are a masterclass in understated glamour. The newest addition to their offering, Nudiflorum, has been inspired by the most sensual kind of glamour – that of being undressed and vulnerable, sensitive to touch. ‘Motivated by everything nude’, this heady, aromatic fragrance invites you to immerse yourself in natural, primitive abandon, an interpretation of the feeling of being touched. Their first fragrance since 2016’s Baraonda, Nudiflorum has been lovingly crafted over the course of two years. “I want my perfumes to have an existence of their own,” says Alessandro Gualtier, perfume extraordinaire and owner of the Nasomatto brand. “Not be enslaved solely by the meanings I gave”. £118
