Fyodor Podgorny and Golan Freedman push the boundaries of taste for AW17 with an avant-garde collection that seemingly raids odds and ends from a stationary cupboard and pairs them with fabric leftovers. Digitally printed paintbox brights meet appliquéd monster faces, leopard print, oversized quilting, PVC, popper fastenings, and their signature experimental cuts. In challenging economic times when many designers choose to play it safe with commercial collections, Fyodor Golan can always be replied on to bring the party. We love them for it.
