With glacier ice blue eyes and pre-requisite killer cheekbones, Pavel Baranov is one of Russia’s finest male modelling exports. Originally from Saint Petersburg, the Baranov family moved to London when Pav was six years old. Since beginning his career as a model, he’s fronted campaigns for Topman, as well as walking for Costume National, DSquared2 and DKNY.
Describing himself as a “good boy”, Baranov holds his family very close to his heart. When asked how he would spend a lottery win, Baranov was quick to answer, “A house in the country for my mum because she deserves it”. Aww. Baranov also tries to visit his extended family back in Russia as much as possible, although a trip to South America would be a dream come true.
Future dreams include moving to New York “I’ve always wanted to move there for some time, I’ve been there a couple of times and it’s a city I adore,” he tells us, and possibly going back to school for music or drama.
This leading man has a great outlook on life, “I live life under the rule of try anything once” stating the one thing he couldn’t live without would be laughter. Baranov remains extremely down to earth despite his success “I just live my life and if someone has an opinion of me so be it I just hope it’s a good one”
