Scattered around London are over 200 unique eggs designed by artists, fashion designers, and architects for our Big Egg Hunt pleasure.

Following the success of the Elephant Parade in 2010, The Big Egg Hunt is a similarly joyful yet addictive pastime simultaneously helping charities Action for Children and Elephant Family. As with the Elephant Parade, Big Egg Hunt sculptures are available for auction and bids can be made online here. With Vivienne Westwood, Tommy Hilfiger, Maria Grachvogel, and Mulberry being just a few of the designers with their own Big Egg sculptures, the Egg Hunt is sure to be a fashionable affair.

Already day 4, there’s no doubt some Egg Hunt fanatics will have found or stumbled across a fair few Big Eggs. Contestants can enter the competition via text (first text constitutes as entry and costs £3) to win The Diamond Jubliee Egg, a Fabergé crafted jewellery piece worth over £100,000. An 18 carat gold egg encrusted with 60 gems, it was designed especially with 2012 as a celebratory British year in mind. Final day for competition entry is Tue April 3rd so there’s plenty of time yet!
